Kim Kardashian 'ready to quit fame' and become full-time lawyer amid career U-turn

Kim Kardashian has revealed she wouldn't mind giving up fame to become a full-time lawyer, after studying hard for four years.

The 42-year-old reality star, who is best-known for starring in Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Hulu's The Kardashians, has been training to become a lawyer since 2019.

Studying hard and keen to follow in the footsteps of her late dad Robert, who was a high-profile attorney who died aged 59 in 2003, it seems Kim is upping the ante.

Kim revealed last night (April 25) how she often makes jokes to her mum Kris Jenner about "retiring" as a celebrity to pursue her law career.

While speaking at the TIMxE100 Summit, she also added that her dad would have "got such a kick" out of her going to law school.

Speaking at the star-studded event on Tuesday night (April 25), the business woman and mum-of-four said: "There's a lot that's out there on TV but my friends know we really value our private time.

"I would be just as happy being an attorney full-time. The journey just really opened up my eyes so much."

She went on: "It gets overwhelming because there's so much to be done.

"I brought my sister Khloé [Kardashian] to a prison for the first time last week, and that was really eye-opening for her."

Kim then spilled: "I always joke with my mum — who's my manager — I say Kim K. is retiring, and I'm just going to be an attorney."

Kim passed her baby BAR exam in December 2021, with her passing on her fourth attempt.

The SKIMS founder is mum to North, 10, Saint, seven, Chicago, five, and three-year-old Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West.

Kim and her children's father Kanye - who is known as Ye - were married in 2014 before reports regarding their split began swirling in January 2021.

At the time CNN reported that the couple were considering getting divorced, with Kim filing for it the following month.

The couple cited "irreconcilable differences" in their divorce papers, with them both agreeing to joint custody of their children.

Kim and Kanye's divorce was finalised in November 2022.
