Kim Kardashian embarrassed daughter North on Thursday by filming an in-car sing-a-long.
The SKIMS mogul was travelling in a Lamborghini with nine-year-old North and her niece Penelope when she recorded the lip sync selfie to Bruno Mars' Versace on the Floor. The 41-year-old starts the Instagram clip by saying “Sing it girls!” then mimes to the lyrics,
However North, who Kim shares with ex-husband Kanye West, was less than impressed by her mum's antics as she complained from the back seat: “Mom! Mom, please delete that!”
Penelope, the 10-year-old daughter of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, appeared far more on board with Kim's antics as she smiled throughout the exchange. At one point Kim, wearing a black tank top as she sported her blonde hair in a bob, makes a shocked expression as North appears to make the fig sign in her direction.
The Kardashians star captioned the video with a microphone emoji and deployed the devil horns filter throughout the clip. As well as North, Kim and Kanye also share four-year-old daughter Chicago and sons Saint, six, and Psalm, three.
Kim filed for divorce from The College Dropout rapper in February 2021 and it was reported earlier this week that she is concerned that Kanye could ruin any future relationships she has following his behaviour towards Pete Davidson. Pete is said to have been in trauma therapy after Kanye used a mock newspaper to declare "Skete Davidson dead at 28" on social media after Kim ended her nine-month relationship with the comedian.
The beauty mogul broke up with Pete citing the long-distance nature of their relationship, but it is believed Kanye's antagonistic behaviour towards his ex-wife's new man placed additional strain on the couple. Pete has reportedly been attending therapy sessions as a result of Kanye's online harassment of the former Saturday Night Live star.
Pete isn't expected to feature heavily on the new season of The Kardashians despite featuring on the latest trailer release. Season two of the hit reality TV show is set to air next month and Hulu have released the latest teaser.
However, while Pete, 28, is seen in the short clip, he's reportedly just featuring in the background. The teaser for the latest series sees Kim tell the cameras: "Life is good. I have a new boyfriend, and I am just having a really good time."
The now ex-couple are then seen prior to the Met Gala as Kim offers Pete a racy invitation in front of Khloe Kardashian. "Babe, do you want to shower with me really quick?,” she asked the comedian.
Despite the clip being a main feature for the trailer, a source has confirmed Pete is just a bit part. Speaking to Page Six, the insider commented: "He’s in the background, but the reality world is not built for people like Pete."
