Kim Kardashian isn’t letting a broken foot stop her from making a fashion statement as she debuted a white, heel-shaped cast on social media.
The SKIMS mogul, 44, showed off the custom cast designed to resemble an open-toe shoe with a tall wedge heel in a close-up photo shared on Instagram on Tuesday.
While her foot and ankle were completely covered in gauze and plaster, her toes remained exposed.
The American Horror Story actress revealed earlier this month that she had broken her foot, but has yet to share details about how the injury happened.
Fans quickly branded the reality TV star "innovative," with some predicting the heel-shaped cast could spark a new fashion trend.
One penned on X, formerly Twitter: “always ahead of your time in the fashion world. This goes harddddd.”
“This will be the new trend,” another quipped. A third added: “Broken foot, but make it fashion!!!!”
Kardashian first revealed her fractured left foot earlier this month by posting a photo in a medical boot. “FML,” she captioned the image, which showed her leaning on crutches. “Broken foot for the holidays.”
She even added Fergie’s song “Clumsy” to the post but didn’t elaborate on how the injury happened.
Before upgrading to her stylish cast “footwear,” Kardashian relied on a scooter to get around.
At the opening of her SKIMS flagship store in New York City last week, the TV star, who shares kids; North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West, used a knee walker to get around.
Despite her injury, she sported open-toe high heels that perfectly matched her cream-colored leather jumpsuit for the event.
This year hasn’t been injury-free for Kardashian.
Over the summer, she broke her index and middle fingers so severely that the bone protruded through her skin, as she shared on an episode of her family’s reality show.
“It happened with my big sliding bathroom door,” she explained during the July episode of The Kardashians. “I was shutting it and there's no latch. You have to pull the inside of the mechanics out.”
Kardashian shared that the accident happened when her nine-year-old son, Saint, ran into the bathroom holding a bag of chips. As she told him to put them away, the sliding door slammed on her fingers.
“I looked at my hand and just dropped to the ground,” she recalled. “I grabbed the table and got on my knees because there was so much blood.”
She described the pain as unbearable. “You can’t even explain it — your whole body goes into shock,” she said, adding, “It was more painful than childbirth.”
