Kim Kardashian says she has strict rules put in place for her daughter North West to use TikTok.
The reality star claimed that North, nine, is only allowed to create videos on the social media platform with her parent’s phone and she isn’t allowed to look at other TikTok’s.
This despite nine-year-old North previously appearing to be unmonitored as she filmed her unaware mother, who was on her mobile, from another phone live on TikTok.
The SKIMS mogul, who has a joint TikTok account with Kardashian, told Gwyneth Paltrow this week on her Goop podcast: “It can only be on my own phone.
"It’s not something where she can scroll and look at things. We don’t do comments.”
The mother-of-four - who also has Chicago, four, Psalm, three, and Saint, seven, with ex-husband Kanye West - added: “She loves to do it and it makes her so happy. She’s so innocent in so many ways."
The mother and daughter duo launched their joint account in November 2021 and have faced criticism for how much North is using the platform and the content of some of her clips, including those which show her giving make-up tutorials.
North’s disgraced father, rapper West who split from Kardashian earlier that year, has famously voiced his opposition to his daughter being on the platform.
He wrote earlier this year: " I need to know what I should do about my daughter being put on TikTock against my will."
Kardashian was also advised not to allow North to do TikTok Lives by her 13-year-old nephew Mason Disick as he has previously got in trouble for doing live chats on social media without his parents consent.
