Kim Kardashian has wished her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson the best after the couple ended their relationship last month.
The 41-year-old dated the comedian, 28, for nine months after meeting him on the set of Saturday Night Live in October 2021.
Although their whirlwind romance came to an end in August, the SKIMS founder has no animosity towards Davidson as she spoke highly of the Saturday Night Live star in a new interview.
When Interview Magazine editor-in-chief Mel Ottenberg noted that the publication wants to put the funnyman on the cover in the future and joked about his “BDE”, Kardashian responded by branding Davidson a “good person” and a “cutie”.
She shared in the magazine’s American Dream issue: “He’s a cutie.
“He’s literally such a good person, they don’t really make them like him anymore. I’m excited for what he has coming up.”
The couple reportedly decided to end their relationship last month due to their demanding schedules after Davidson travelled to Australia to film his new project, Wizards!.
At the time, a source told E News! that the pair have “a lot of love and respect for each other,” but that the long distance “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship”.
Following their split, the former couple were the subject of social media attacks from her ex-husband Kanye West, 45, who also publicly shared his anger over their four children’s schooling.
Despite Yeezy’s public comments, Kardashian spoke positively of her former partner in the new interview claiming that she earned a “different level of respect” when they got together.
“I mean, when I was with Kanye, and he was introducing me to a lot of people, I think that definitely got a lot of people to have a different level of respect,” the reality TV said.
The former couple filed for divorce in 2021 after almost seven years of marriage and was ruled legally single earlier this year. They share four children: North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three.
Also in her cover interview, Kardashian admitted that she feels she’s earned more respect in recent years among her peers.
“I’ve also seen a s*** more recently — going to law school, just doing what I want and becoming my own person and people seeing that and respecting that. There’s levels to it,” the star added.
