And Just Like That star Kristin Davis has broken her silence on the current feud between her co-stars.
Kristin, 58, who plays Charlotte York in Sex and the City and it's spin-off show, And Just Like That, has admitted that she won't be "wasting any energy" on the beef.
It comes after reports on an ongoing feud between Sarah Jessica Parker, 58, who plays sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw and Kim Cattrall, 66, who plays PR Samantha Jones.
“You have to respect people’s wishes. I’m not gonna waste energy on it. I can’t change anybody,” Kristin told The Telegraph about the drama.
“I do understand fans’ feelings — that they’re upset … I wish I could fix it, but I can’t, it’s not in my power."
Kristin's comments come as it's reported that Sarah Jessica was feeling "heartbroken and upset" upon learning of Kim's return to the show.
Kim had sworn against reprising her role as the sex-positive PR agent in the show despite fans begging for her to make an appearance.
Many believed that her alleged ongoing tension with Sarah Jessica Parker, which was said to have started over pay differences, played a role in her turning down the comeback.
However, in a shocking turn of events, Kim was announced to be appearing in a short cliffhanger scene in the upcoming third season.
An insider told Closer magazine that her return to the franchise has "massively ruffled the feathers of other stars".
"What's caused the upset is that Kim's got everything she wanted on a plate. A nice sum of money for 10 minutes of screen time, she didn't have to see or speak to SJP, and she wanted original costume designer Patricia Field brought back onto the show," they added.
Things were also reported to have been "awkward" on set for the cast and crew alike.
"It's awkward because at some point they will be expected to be in the same room when it comes to promoting the second season, which is already causing headaches for producers," they revealed.
"Kim isn't under any obligation to kiss and make up with SJP, but she is expected to promote the series and they would hope that she makes the premiere."
Mirror has contacted Kim and Kristin's representatives for comment.
