A busy Kilmarnock street has been sealed off this morning after a fire at a restaurant.
Titchfield Street has been closed to drivers as emergency services deal with a blaze at Burgur Grill.
Crews have blocked off the road as they divert traffic around the one-way system in the East Ayrshire town.
Firefighters are still working hard at the scene although it appears the situation is under control.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 1.59am on Friday, May 26 to reports of a fire within a commercial premises in Kilmarnock.
"Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances to the town's Titchfield Street, where firefighters were met by a fire on the building's ground floor.
"One fire appliance currently remains on the scene with firefighters working to make the area safe.
"There are no casualties."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2am on Friday, May 26 we were called to a report of a fire in Titchfield Street, Kilmarnock.
"Officers provided assistance to colleagues at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
"There are no reports of any injuries.
"Enquiries have commenced and are ongoing."
