Following a hugely successful pantomime season in 2022, Kilmarnock's Palace Theatre and Imagine Theatre have confirmed that this year's giant family treat Jack and The Beanstalk will see the return of panto favourites Andrew Agnew, Gary Morrison, James McAnerney and Craig McDougall.
With last year’s production of Snow White nominated for Best Pantomime in the UK Pantomime Association annual awards this year is shaping up to be another smash hit full of all of the favourite panto ingredients.
Andrew Agnew, best-known as PC Plum in Balamory, returns to direct as well as play Dame Tilly Trott.
Andrew said: “I am very excited to be returning to Kilmarnock after Snow White last year. Playing Bella Moray was such a hoot that this panto season I'm back in the frocks again playing Dame Trott in Jack and the Beanstalk.
I had such a brilliant time in our panto award nominated show last year. We had such a superb cast and loads of jam-packed audiences. It's always great fun playing The Palace, there really is no audience like it so, I'm delighted to be doing it all over again at Christmas, but this time with a cow and some beans and most importantly some familiar faces.
He continued: "I've been lucky to be doing pantomime for 20 years this year, but this will be my first ever Jack and the Beanstalk so it's going to be a special one. “
With prices starting at just £15.50 tickets can now we purchased for this affordable family friendly festive treat. Jack and the Beanstalk will run from Friday, November 24 until Friday, December 29, 2023.
