Kilmarnock forced to sub goalkeeper seconds into Celtic Scottish Cup tie

Kilmarnock have been forced to substitute their goalkeeper just seconds into the Scottish Cup tie against Celtic.

Robby McCrorie was unable to continue after a nasty collision with just over 20 seconds played at Celtic Park.

Nico Kuhn had burst clear in a rapid attack from Celtic but was thwarted by McCrorie who won the ball but took a knock on the head in a collision with the forward.

McCrorie was flat out on the turf after the natural coming together and required urgent treatment before being informed he could not continue.

TV camera showed the goalkeeper developing a bruise under his right eye immediately after the collision as he was replaced by Kieran O'Hara.

Thankfully, McCrorie could leave the field by his own strength and without need for a stretcher or support from medical staff.
