Kilmarnock will have a Christmas light switch-on event for the first time in two years.
The town centre will be alive again with the merry buzz of festivities next Sunday, November 27 as the public are welcomed back to mark the start of the Christmas period.

Shops will be open for the festivities and market stall have also been drafted in for shoppers to buy gifts or get something to eat or drink.
Carol-singing, music and street entertainment will all feature as part of the countdown to Christmas.
East Ayrshire Leisure have yet to announce what time the lights will be switched on at and if any special guests will have the honour of flicking the switch to kick-off Christmas.
A special Christmas Escape event will also be taking place at the New Laigh Kirk with guests going through each station and working together to "unlock the secrets of the Nativity story to reveal the true meaning of Christmas."
All families are welcome at the new church event that's on from 1pm to 4pm.
