Kilmarnock has broken its long-standing season ticket record.
A 30-year record has been surpassed by the Rugby Park club this week, with 5,112 books sold so far this campaign.
It follows on from Killie milestone last year of 5,022 season ticket holders, which subsequently smashed sales dating back to the 1990s.

Ahead of the game, managing director Phyliss McLeish said: “The board is exceptionally grateful for the unrivalled passion and loyalty that supporters have displayed throughout a transformational period for the club.
“We’re acutely aware that times are tough for many individuals across the region. Recording season ticket highs stretching back more than 30 years, plus record-breaking kit launch sales in the same summer, demonstrates our community’s devotion to progress their local team. This level of support continues to fuel our vision of pushing boundaries as the strongest provincial club in Scotland.
“From the board and players to staff and supporters, we’re all determined to continue breaking records together.”
The rising season ticket figures have shown a substantial uptake in youth pathway options, according to the club.
The Under-21s category has increased by 10 per cent, making it the second-largest demographic within the club's supporter base.
Last season’s sales record was exceeded when The Killie Trust secured a section of Moffat Stand seating to support the ‘Growing the Club’s Future’ initiative, which is preserving school supporters’ groups in the local area.
Over the past two seasons, The Trust’s investment in this project has enabled many youngsters to attend Rugby Park regularly for the very first time.
This year, backing of the initiative has been strengthened to nurture the next generation of young fans at the following Ayrshire schools; Kilmarnock Academy, St Joseph’s Academy, Grange Academy, Loudoun Academy, Greenwood Academy, Robert Burns Academy.
Charlie Adams, Club Youth Ambassador, added: “Alongside strengthening an expanding contingency of young supporters’ groups across Ayrshire schools, The Killie Trust’s investment has helped to bond a greater sense of community and create memories that will last a lifetime.
“As a direct result of the ‘Growing the Club’s Future’ initiative, it has been wonderful to witness the evolution of many young supporters who have developed into passionate Killie fans since being handed the opportunity to experience their first matchday at Rugby Park.”
