Rangers once again recovered from going behind as they ran out winners against ten-man Kilmarnock.
The hosts went ahead within the first six minutes as Chris Stokes headed home from a corner. Jon McLaughlin will be disappointed in his role with the keeper not covering himself in glory as he attempted to come for the cross. However, Alfredo Morelos was on hand to level midway through the first half as he slotted home following a lovely spin and run off the defender from Fashion Sakala before he drilled a low delivery into the box.
Five minutes into the second period the game had been turned on its head as Ryan Kent got in on the scoring act after finding the bottom corner after picking up a Morelos cross into the box. Danny Armstrong - who looked dangerous for the hosts - was issued his marching orders with half an hour to play after picking up his second booking of the night. Morelos then grabbed his second with a close-range header from a Borna Barisic cross. Joe Wright netted a stunning late volley but it wasn't enough for the hosts. Here are three things we learned from Rangers' win at Rugby Park.

Glove battle
Jon McLaughlin was favoured in this one with Allan McGregor back on the bench.
The 35-year-old played the last league outing in the Premiership against Dundee United before watching on at Hampden for the League Cup semi-final clash with Aberdeen.
But the experienced goalkeeper was back in the sticks at Rugby Park. Didn't cover himself in glory in opening five minutes from two corners including Chris Stokes goal.
Stood no chance at Joe Wright's stunning volley.
Mor to come
Could this be the spark for Alfredo Morelos to kick-start life under Michael Beale?
The striker was on hand to stroke home after an excellent spin behind and cross from Fashion Sakala before adding a second with a close-range header from a Borna Barisic cross.
Kemar Roofe and Antonio Colak are struggling with injury putting more pressure on the Colombian up top.
However, he stepped up this evening with two goals. The Rangers fans and management will be hoping this is the start of a scoring run for the hitman.
Powers of recovery
Michael Beale has regularly found his team in trailing positions since taking over but they always seem to bounce back.
Tonight was the fifth time his side were losing at one point in the 90 minutes.
However, despite going behind after just six minutes they recovered to claim all three points.
The new boss remains unbeaten as gaffer since replacing Giovanni van Bronckhorst
