Kilmacud Crokes 0-20 Na Fianna 0-17
Kilmacud Crokes did the Dublin senior double this afternoon as they edged out Na Fianna at Parnell Park for the second time in a week.
This was also a repeat of last year’s Dublin hurling final, where Kilmacud came from nine points behind with 10 minutes to go to win after extra-time.
For Na Fianna this was another heartbreaking defeat with a number of chances going begging late on.

Sean Baxter pulled on a loose ball first time but missed the target when it seemed he would hit the net to give his side a one point lead.
The chance came three minutes into the five allotted minutes of stoppage time, which ran a minute and a half further with the now familiar spectre of players going down for treatment to run down the clock.
Na Fianna had other chances too with Crokes goalkeeper Eddie Gibbons saving from Baxter on 53 minutes and the ball deflecting onto the crossbar.
The sides were level at the time and it seemed Na Fianna’s luck wasn’t in.
Kilmacud had Alex Considine red carded on 58 minutes for an off the ball tangle when they were a point behind, but finished with the final three points of the game.
Crokes, despite being down to 14 men, still had two spare men at the back at times as Na Fianna didn’t really push up on them in the closing stages.
It had looked like Donal Burke would fire Na Fianna to a first Dublin senior hurling title as he slipped into the groove early in the second half to put his side two clear on 36 minutes.
Burke hit a string of wonderful scores and would finish with 11 points, including five from play.
But bar Andrew Jamieson-Murphy with four points, Dublin dead ball ace Burke didn’t have enough scoring support.
The duo accounted for 15 of their 17 points while their opponents, with Oisin O’Rorke imperious from frees and play, had 10 different scorers.
In the end Na Fianna’s 15 wides and two efforts dropped short cost them dearly, although Crokes had nine and also dropped five efforts short.
It was a seventh Dublin senior title for Crokes as they made it back to back crowns.
