Kilmacud Crokes have lodged a counter-appeal to the GAA over Sunday's controversial All-Ireland Club final.
The game, which Crokes won on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-9, has been shrouded in controversy after video footage appeared to show that the Dublin club had 16 players on the field as a Glen 45 was being taken during the closing stages of Sunday's final.
Glen manager Malachy O'Rourke raised the issue with officials at the time. However the 45 in question was not retaken, even though the extra player, Dara Mullin, was situated near the goal-line as Glen pushed for a goal.

On Tuesday, Glen lodged an objection to the CCCC citing rule 6.44 after the GAA said they wouldn't intervene on the issue unless forced to.
Three days later, Crokes are now understood to have lodged their own counter-appeal to the CCCC, which is expected to meet next week to discuss the controversy.
There are a number of penalties that could be imposed upon Crokes should the CCCC side with Glen. These include a fine, a replay, or the awarding of the game to the opposition.
A replay had seemed the most likely outcome, though Crokes' objection has added yet more confusion to the situation.
Earlier this week, reports suggested that the Stillorgan club had no interest in a replay, with one report claiming that the club would be more likely to hand back the trophy rather than replay the final.
Should the game be replayed, another problem that arises is the lack of space in the calendar to play the game.
Added to that is the potential absence of key players, with many expected to go on holiday after a long club season.
With the National leagues kicking off this weekend, a potential rematch may have to be put on the back-burner for now.
With an already congested fixture list and the now seemingly inevitable appeal/counter-appeal tit-for-tat set to continue, there's no sign of this saga ending anytime soon.
