(Picture: PA)Sarah Everard’s killer Wayne Couzens has appeard in court to face further allegations of flashing.
The former Metropolitan Police officer was convicted of kidnapping, raping, and murdering Ms Everard and is currently serving a whole life sentence in prison.
He was charged in April with four incidents of alleged exposure in the weeks before Ms Everard was killed.
Last month, the Crown Prosecution Service announced two more exposure charges were being brought against the former PC.
Couzens appeared at Westminster magistrates court via videolink from HMP Frankland this morning for a brief hearing.
In the first charge, he is accused of driving through Dover with the lower half of his body undressed, the court heard.
In the second alleged incident, he is accused of exposing himself to a female cyclist.
He offered no indication of plea to the new charges, and his case was sent to the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing on October 3.
Couzens, a former member of the Met’s Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection unit, killed Ms Everard, 33, after abducting her in south London on March 3 last year.
He faces allegations that he exposed himself four times between late January and February 27 last year.
He pleaded not guilty to those offences in May, and a trial date has not yet been set.
In the new charges, Couzens is accused of flashing in November 2020 and June 2015.
