Kilburn: Murder investigation after man in his 20s shot dead with killer at large

A man has been killed in a “horrific” shooting in Kilburn.

Police were called at 11.06pm on Wednesday to reports of shots fired in Bravington Road.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene and found a man, aged in his 20s, suffering from gunshot injuries.He was declared dead at the scene at 11.48pm.His next of kin have been informed, the Met Police said.A crime scene and road closures remained in place on Thursday afternoon and no arrests have been made.

Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, who is leading the investigation, said: "The incident took place in a residential street and as a result I am sure there are people who may have captured footage on their doorbell or dash cameras that could be vitally important for us.

"I need those people to check immediately and share any material they have with us immediately.

"Equally if you saw or heard anything before the incident, or after it, I need you to speak to my team so that we can have the best possible chance of finding whoever is responsible for this horrific crime and bringing them to justice."
