Kiko Martinez will defend his IBF Featherweight title against Josh Warrington in Leeds this Saturday.
These fighters have met in the ring once before. Back in 2017, Warrington picked up a decision win. Two fights later, Warrington became the IBF Featherweight champion.
Both men will be familiar to Irish fight fans, having broken Irish hearts in the past. Josh Warrington defeated Carl Frampton by majority decision in 2018, while Martinez is best remembered for his demolition of Bernard Dunne in less than a round.
Both fighters have improved their records since their first encounter. Martinez now holds a record of 43-10-2, while Warrington's defeat and subsequent draw with Mauricio Lara are the only blemishes on his 30-1-1 record.
