Actress Kiernan Shipka is giving us the Instagram content we deserve.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress shared a photo of herself and her dog, Frankie, and among the demands for more pup pics and Shipka’s skin care routine (which we would also like, TBH), one fan got a little confused.
Mistaking Shipka’s makeup-free selfie for that of actress Emma Watson, the Instagram user commented, “So pretty Emma Watson.”
It was unclear whether the fan genuinely thought she was Watson, or if they were just making a joke (I mean, we assume you know what the people you follow on Instagram look like), but either way Shipka’s reply will give you a laugh.
“Thank you,” she wrote, before her epic comeback. “I had an amazing time filming Harry Potter [and] am really thrilled about all the new projects I’m doing now!”
Shipka’s comment was an instant hit, receiving over 14,000 likes and hundreds of replies.
And while we imagine those “new projects” that she was referring to include Watson’s recent role as Meg March in Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Little Women, Shipka’s projects aren’t too shabby either.
The former Mad Men star is currently playing the title character in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (a darker adaptation of the ‘90s comedy, Sabrina the Teenage Witch). The third season was released earlier this month, and Netflix has confirmed a fourth season is in the works.
And who knows, perhaps one of those future projects could involve Shipka and Watson playing twins? In the meantime, we’d be happy with more Shipka and Frankie content.
