Kieran Trippier sprung a sweet Valentine's Day on wife Charlotte, just as Newcastle United fans came to terms with him potentially being out for a number of weeks due to injury.
After he scored at St James' Park for the second time in a matter of days on Sunday, scoring from a free kick to secure three points for the Magpies against Aston Villa, there were worrying scenes when he had to leave the field.
The England international, who also netted from a free kick against Everton last Tuesday, was stamped on by an opposition player and, after the game, headed to the nearby RVI hospital where it was found that he'd fractured a bone in his foot.

The injury blow came on the same day Kieran was given the Magpies' captain's arm band for the first time as Eddie Howe's men recorded their third win a row.
Charlotte, just as she was for the Everton match, was in the St James' Park crowd along with several other Newcastle WAGS, to see her husband score and then hobble off the pitch.
The Villa game came at the end of the fashionista's first week in Newcastle, after she and the couple's children moved over from Madrid a month after Kieran signed for United.
And he made sure her first Valentine's on Tyneside was one to remember.
On Monday morning, Charlotte took to her Style Up Sisters Instagram account to upload a video of a room filled with flowers and balloons, including one filled with red petals with the words Happy Valentine's Charlotte and another that said Happy Valentine's Mummy.
Charlotte zoomed in on some of the roses she;'d been given by her other half, before returning to Insta later on in the day to show off heart shaped plates with her children's names on and a table set with a single red rose on the napkin in front of her.
The 30-year-old paid tribute to Kieran and her children in a separate Instagram post, when she wrote: "Happy Valentine’s Day to my handsome man and my beautiful babies. I thank god every day for my team. All I need in life is you.
"Also, thinking of all today who are unfortunately without their loved ones, I send lots of love your way!"
Kieran took to Twitter on Monday evening to thank NUFC supporters for all their concern, writing: "It's really frustrating to have picked up the injury yesterday.
"We've built some momentum and long may that continue. I will remain positive and work as hard as I can on my rehab to be back fit as quickly as possible. Thank you all for your very kind messages of support."
