Newcastle United captain Kieran Trippier turned 32 in style with a cracking birthday cake from a company loved by plenty of people in the city.
Skipper Kieran has made himself right at home on Tyneside since his big money move from Atletico Madrid at the start of the year, with Charlotte and the couple's children staying on in Spain for a few weeks longer, before also making the switch to Newcastle, with Charlotte delighting at having her first Greggs on her new home turf.
Since settling in Newcastle, Charlotte has given birth to her and Kieran's third child, as well as being a regular in the stands of St James' Park to cheer her England international husband on. Charlotte was in a box for the frustrating 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace earlier this month and again when Eddie Howe's men could only take a point against the manager's former club Bournemouth.
Days after the 1-1 draw at St James', there were celebrations in the Trippier household when Bury born right-back Kieran turned 32. And Charlotte, who married Kieran in 2016, shared the cake they had to mark the occasion from Quayside favourite the Great British Cupcakery. The Queen Street haunt has become a big favourite with locals and visitors alike thanks to its eye-catching and decadent creations and luxurious afternoon teas.
And the team at the Great British Cupcakery pulled out all the stops for Kieran's birthday, designing and creating a massive display cake decorated with poker chips and plAying cards, along with his name. Showing her gratitude for their handiwork, Charlotte shared a picture of the cake on her Instagram story and wrote: "Such a sick cake. Thanks @gbcupcakery," along with a love heart emoji.
