Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney could be set for a potential transfer exit in the coming months as European giants are said to be eyeing a move, according to recent reports. The Scotland international has struggled for game time so far this season, often only starting in the cup games.
The 25-year-old has made 15 Premier League appearances, but has usually featured from the bench as Oleksandr Zinchenko has earned a first-team spot. The Ukraine international plays a specialised role at full-back, often tucking inside to "invert" and play as a midfielder.
It's something that doesn't suit Tierney's particular skillset, which is better suited to overlapping on the left and creating quality crosses. Discussing the benefits of Zinchenko's role, Mikel Arteta said recently: “He is a player who gives us everything that we want in that position.

“He gives us versatility and he gets a lot of attention, as well, and fills other spaces that, for us, is very important. I will especially highlight his mentality and what he brought. He has a real desire to make something special with this team and [the] experience that he has had in the past is very helpful to do that.”
With Tierney's struggles to fit into the system so far, a transfer exit could well be on the cards with recent links with a few big clubs. According to TMW, European giants Juventus and Inter Milan are both eyeing a move for the Scotsman in the transfer window, though it's reliant on another incoming.
Real Valladolid's Ivan Fresneda is said to be a target for the Gunners, but it remains to be seen if they can get a deal over the line before the January transfer deadline.
