Kieran Tierney has been offered a possible transfer exit out of Arsenal, according to reports.
The Scotland international has struggled for consistent game time at the Gunners in recent times with Oleksandr Zinchenko the preferred option at left back.
Tierney has been linked with a number of clubs this summer including Celtic, but manager Mikel Arteta has spoken of the importance of Tierney in his squad.
The defender was utilised from the bench as Arsenal won the Community Shield against Manchester City on Sunday and following the game links have emerged signalling a possible move to La Liga in Spain.
Relevo report that Real Sociedad have contacted Arsenal over a potential transfer to bolster their defensive options heading into the new campaign.
The Spanish side finish fourth in La Liga last term and they are looking to take the next step this upcoming campaign.
Speaking earlier this summer about Tierney, Arteta explained: "He is, he is in our plans, and as you said, he came on really well.
"It's not the first time, every time he's played in pre-season, he's been really good. This is why we want to create competition in the team, raise the level of each individual and that's going to be a huge benefit for the team to get to another level."
