Kieran Tierney Arsenal moment convinces fans of transfer exit

Kieran Tierney could well have played his last game for Arsenal.

The Scottish defender has been heavily linked with a move away from The Emirates this summer after a distinct lack of game time under Mikel Arteta this season.

The former Celtic star came on as a substitute in the Gunners' final day 5-0 win over Wolves yesterday.

The Scotland international joined his teammates in the traditional lap of honour at the end of the game.

But some fans have been left convinced that KT has graced the turf in North London for the last time as an Arsenal player.

In a video widely circulated online, the left-back appeared to be soaking up the applause from the home supporters. It certainly seemed to be an emotional few moments, as Tierney took in the appreciation from his fans as they chanted "There's only one Kieran Tierney".

Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Manchester City have all been touted for Tierney, who has played second fiddle to Oleksandr Zinchenko all season.

The 25-year-old Scot isn't going to be short of options should he decide to play his football elsewhere in the 2023/24 season.

And fans on social media believe he will be heading off once the players return for pre-season in July.

One fan tweeted: "Yep it looks like the end. How sad. I always counted on Tierney."

Another said: "That looks like a farewell to me."

Another commented: "It’s clear. He’s leaving."

And a fourth added: "Watching that you'd think Kieran Tierney is gonna go. Sadly."
