Arsenal are top of the Premier League heading into the game against Leeds United this weekend and fans are rightly full of optimism.
The Gunners have lost just one game so far this season and there is now a buzz amongst fans that the club are in for a special season. Arsenal have gone through plenty of tough times in the past few years but Mikel Arteta's side are bringing the good times back to the Emirates Stadium.
The trust put in Arteta has seen the Spaniard be able to repair a fractured relationship between fans and players, highlighted by Granit Xhaka's impressive turnaround after the Swiss midfielder's career looked to be over in north London. The Gunners haven't won anything under Arteta and fans aren't getting carried away just yet, but there is something brewing at the Emirates Stadium with the north London outfit looking strong both domestically and in Europe.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher was taken back by the change in atmosphere at Arsenal and underlined the togetherness and unity now being shown between the players and fans. Speaking on SkySports after the Gunners' dramatic 3-2 win against the Reds, Carragher said: "I feared that going into the game, that they would have too much intensity and pace for Liverpool and I think that was proven.
"In terms of Arsenal, I think you know I've always been a fan of what Mikel Arteta is doing there or trying to do. I love the energy of the team, the bravery of going with those young players last year, and I just love the energy in the stadium right now.
"That's something I haven't seen since I've been doing this job and looking at Arsenal. There's an energy there, there's a togetherness. The song that they sing, 'North London Forever' by Louis Dunford, listening to it, you just feel something."
Carragher isn't the only person who has felt the remarkable buzz generated by the impressive start to the season at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney has also been amazed by the incredible atmosphere at the club, but insists that nobody is getting carried away.
Tierney told Sky Sports: "The connection with the fans is the best it’s been since I came here. We know we’re playing well so hopefully we can keep it up.
"A new manager and a new style of play is going to take time to get playing the way he wants. If it was easy just to go and do it in one game, everybody would," the Scotland international added when discussing the impact Arteta has had.
"The detail he puts in, the effort that he and his staff put in it was always going to work, but it was going to take time. You could always see in the last couple of seasons it was working but now we've just done it more consistently."
