Kids can meet their favourite CBeebies characters at Alton Towers this weekend

This Bank Holiday weekend is set to be huge for CBeebies Land at Alton Towers as the theme park celebrates its fifth birthday at the resort.

From Saturday, May 4 to Monday, May 6, CBeebies fans can join in the birthday festivities and meet some of their favourite characters from the hit TV channel.

The children’s theme park is dedicated to all things CBeebies and is home to kids’ TV favourites such as the Furchester Hotel, Go Jetters, In the Night Garden, Octonauts, Postman Pat and Tree Fu Tom.

You can go to Alton Towers again for free if it rains thanks to this little-known rule  

Special CBeebies guests will come together for a very special live performance each day as they descend on the theme park this Bank Holiday.

Alongside the special performances, guests visiting CBeebies land this weekend can take part in a special Birthday Treat Trail and even receive a birthday badge reward as they explore.

CBeebies Land includes indoor and outdoor play areas, full programme of live entertainment and a large range of rides - including the brand new for 2019 Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop ride.

Standard admissions prices do apply, though CBeebies Land birthday celebrations are free.
