Referee Wilton Sampaio made some strange decisions during England's World Cup quarter-final clash against France.
Aurelien Tchouameni scored Les Bleus' opening goal in the 17th minute before Harry Kane equalised with a penalty in the second half. Saka was seemingly fouled in the build-up to France's goal in the first half but VAR deemed that the goal was allowed to stand.
Kane was also fouled in the first half but VAR denied England a penalty after Dayot Upamecano made a rash challenge inside the area. Saka was then fouled by Tchouameni to win a penalty as the England captain stepped up to fire past his Tottenham teammate Hugo Lloris.

Olivier Giroud then since put Les Bleus back in front before Kane missed a second penalty awarded by VAR, but fans can't seem to understand some of the refereeing decisions as Saka continued to be fouled throughout the match.

@joethomlinson tweeted: "What is this ref smoking? Saka is being booted out of the game it is HORRENDOUS." @Ankaman616 posted: "Protect Saka. Pls."
@NickBrightDJ tweeted: "England fans experiencing what Arsenal fans see every single week in the Prem. Watching Saka kicked off the park every time he touches the ball *eye roll emoji*."
