Milwaukee Bucks wing Khris Middleton is set to make his return to the court for Sunday afternoon's game against the Phoenix Suns after being sidelined for over a month due to a left ankle sprain. Middleton confirmed his anticipated comeback during the Bucks' practice session on Saturday.
The 32-year-old former All-Star sustained the ankle sprain during a game against the Suns on February 6, which has caused him to miss a total of 24 games so far this season. Middleton's absence has been felt by the Bucks, who are currently locked in a tight race with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the coveted No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Despite his time off the court, Middleton has been a key contributor when healthy this season, averaging nearly 15 points and 5 assists per game in just over 26 minutes of play. His shooting efficiency has also been impressive, boasting a field goal percentage of 48.7%.
