Khloe Kardashian said she’s ‘not a spiteful person’ as she hit out on social media.
The 37-year-old engaged with fans on Twitter as she live tweeted during the latest episode of The Kardashians, which saw Khloe suffer more heartbreak at the hands of Tristan Thompson.
Cameras caught the moment the mum-of-one discovered the basketball player had fathered another child with a personal trainer, and viewers were left in tears while watching the emotional scenes.
One fan hit out at serial cheater Tristan, and wrote: “I respect y’all for being on this positivity shit but F–K Tristan!!! #TheKardashians.”
Khloe replied to the tweet with four love heart emojis, prompting some media outlets to suggest she was “supportive” of her fan’s attitude toward her ex.
But the Good American co-founder was furious as she claimed her tweet was taken out of context.
“This is why I get discouraged to tweet. Things get taken out of context or made into something that it wasn’t,” she posted.
“No matter what someone does to me, it’s not my personality to do something spiteful back. Especially on SM. I wish people stopped taking the fun/innocence out of things,” Khloe fumed.
The fan who posted the original tweet replied to the star, and said she “didn’t deserve” to be targeted.
“It’s really not that’s why I hated that the blogs picked up that tweet you don’t deserve for people to take (love heart emojis) out of context, you were just sending me love you didn’t co-sign anything,” they wrote.
Khloe later confessed watching the episode was “uncomfortable”, and heaped praise on her family for their unwavering support.
“I love and appreciate my family more than I can express. Praise the Lord I have them for the res[t] for my life,” she wrote.
During the episode, which was filmed in December last year, Khloe’s big sister Kim Kardashian broke the news about Tristan’s infidelity over the phone, after it emerged he had slept with Maralee Nichols and fathered her son Theo.
Kim later spoke with Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner about the scandal, with the billionaire businesswoman revealing Tristan had cheated hours after Khloe threw him a birthday party.
“He’s asking for a paternity test and admitting that he had sex with her. Khloe threw him his 30th birthday. So he went home from the 30th birthday party, went to Houston to play on the road - we can check his schedule - and then slept with this girl,” Kim told her sisters.
