Khloe Kardashian's personal trainer shares her intense workout routine

Khloe Kardashian's personal trainer has revealed how the reality star achieves her enviable body.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star completes at least five workouts per week and has gained strength over time.

She has a gym in her lavish home in Los Angeles and hired PT Joël Bouraïma to help her achieve her goals.

"Khloe has a full professional gym at her house, so of course, we have more weights and equipment," he explained to Women's Health.

The reality star spends her week skipping, doing planks, squats, push-ups, mountain climbers and side planks, which she repeats for several rounds.

She even makes sure to arrive 30 minutes before the PT in order to stretch and warm-up for the hour session.

The workouts shared in the publication had been adjusted by the personal trainer to make it easier for people to try them at home.

One of the days is for cardio or pilates.

For the final two days, there are rounds of glute, core and arm focused workouts to help the star reach her desired fitness levels.

Khloe's personal trainer also discussed the importance of having rest days in order to get stronger and prevent injuries.

"She needs some days off, it’s part of the process as much as a day of training," he said.

"People usually underestimate days off but it’s during this time that your body is getting stronger."

Khloe previously talked about her love for working out, telling Life and Style that she couldn’t wait to get back to the gym after giving birth to True - who she shares with Tristan Thompson - back in April 2018.

She told the magazine: “I was so excited because working out for me it is more about mental health. It is not necessarily [about] how I look. Yeah, that is a byproduct. You look good. But for me it is [for] my sanity and I was so stoked.”

She also told People last August: "For me, working out is a huge part of my life and it clears my head.

"It makes me feel strong and accomplished. That little bit of self-care is what I need."

She added: "It's a stress reliever. I get anxiety sometimes. It takes all of that away.

“A by-product of [working out] is you look good. But my main focus isn't about, 'Oh, I need to lose 5 lbs.' I don't care about the scale. I feel energized and I'm ready to chase my daughter [True] around for the day. It gives you that little oomph that I need."
