Khloe Kardashian learned she has "emotional trauma on the brain", after being left heartbroken following her now ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal.
Last year, the reality star, 38, made the shocking discovery Tristan Thompson, 31, was expecting another baby with another woman, weeks after their surrogate became pregnant with their second child.
In the latest episode of the Kardashian's Hulu show, sister Kendall encouraged Khloe to have an MRI test to see how her brain was functioning after the ordeal.
Dr. Daniel Amen led the scientific stunt and compared Khloe's brain with sister Kendall Jenner's, confirming that Khloe had some recent "emotional trauma".
The medic instantly noticed some impact, which Khloe quickly pinned down to being a result of a car crash she got into when she was just a teenager.
"I went through a car windshield when I was 16, headfirst. I was knocked out and I actually hit my head a couple times more after that," she explained.
Dr Amen revealed: "You worry, and you can be anxious and you've had trauma, do you see this diamond? This often will go with emotional trauma."
Spilling all on what it could be, Khloe told the doctor: "My last ex-boyfriend, there was a lot of cheating while I was pregnant.
"Then he just had a baby with someone else while we were together, all these things I find out about from social media myself – so it's pretty traumatic."
The scandal saw fitness model Maralee Nichols Maralee give birth to the basketball player's third child, a baby boy named Theo, on December 1.
While Tristan initially denied Maralee's child was his, a paternity test revealed he was - putting his already rocky relationship with Khloe into disarray.
Khloe and Tristan's surrogacy carrier was inseminated in November - before Khloe knew about Tristan's cheating ways.
The basketball player, and the reality TV star - who were already parents to daughter True Thompson, four - welcomed a son, born through surrogacy, last month.
"All I know is I was being encouraged to do it by a certain date. In hindsight, he always knew when the other baby was being born," she commented in the season two opener.
Earlier in the episode, Khloe spoke about her decision not to accept Tristan's proposal back in December 2020 with her sister Kim.
Kim told Khloe she shouldn’t worry about ‘what’s humiliating’ as she expressed her shock Khloe did not tell the family about the proposal at the time.
Speaking to the Hulu cameras, Kim explained Tristan had said he planned to propose to Khloe on Valentine’s Day 2021, which marked ‘a year since they had drama’, in reference to a previous cheating scandal.
Yet when the date came and went, Kim said she called Tristan to ask if he had indeed proposed, only to learn he had done so months prior and Khloe had turned him down.
Explaining her decision at the time, Khloe said: “I said I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship, because I want to be proud to say I'm engaged to anyone.
“That's why I said I'm not comfortable accepting this right now, because I'm not excited to tell my family.
“As hurtful as that probably was for him, it was the truth. I'm not ever going to accept something and give someone false hope.”
Speaking to the cameras in a confessional, Kim then said: “I don't know, if someone asked me, I would have to say yes. I'd feel so bad.”
She then told Khloe: “I get it's super draining and I'm sorry. You don't deserve this and that's what sucks. You're the best person. You are a better person than anyone I know.”
