Khloe Kardashian discovered Tristan Thompson was expecting another baby with another woman, weeks after their surrogate became pregnant with their second child.
The reality star, 38, and her now ex-boyfriend Tristan, 31, announced they were having another child together on Wednesday night, and are "grateful for an extraordinary blessing".
After the announcement, Keeping Up With The Kardashian fans were quick to do the maths and pointed out Tristan had already had his fling with fitness model Maralee Nichols in March 2021.
The scandal saw Maralee give birth to the basketball player's third child, a baby boy named Theo, on December 1 and their surrogacy carrier was inseminated in November - before Khloe knew about Tristan's cheating ways.
While Tristan initially denied Maralee's child was his, a paternity test revealed he was - putting his already rocky relationship with Khloe into disarray.
A month later, the athlete penned a public apology to Khloe, with whom he shares daughter True, four, with.
He wrote: "I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.
"Khloe, you don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation my actions have caused you."
The couple split with Khloe's heartache being documented in her family's reality show The Kardashians.
"A courtesy would be not doing it, but fine, if you’re going to do it, you’re not even going to give me a f**king heads up before the rest of the world? It’s just an additional slap in my face," she said.
"It’s humiliating, I’m embarrassed. I’m replaying every event, every grand gesture, every trip, every date, every whatever. All of that was a lie. How were you able to not say something? I feel not really in my own body.
"When things happen to you a couple of times, you do kind of become immune to them, which is really sad.
"It’s time to walk away and I don’t feel guilty about it. I tried so hard."
In a statement announcing they were expecting their second child together, a representative for Khloe told the Mirror: "We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November.
"Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family."
Meanwhile, a source told us: "The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloe and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else in December."
As well as Tristan's children with Khloe and Maralee, he has a third child, Prince, with his ex Jordan Craig.
