Khloe Kardashian opened up about the reality of her current relationship with controversial beau Tristan Thompson during a lie detector test with her sister Kourtney for Vanity Fair .
In the video, which came out on December 15th, Kourtney asked her younger sister “Are you sleeping with Tristan?”
Khloe didn’t hesitate to set the story straight that she is no longer involved with the father of her children, saying: "No, I am not. I'm really not."
The lie detector confirmed that Khloe was telling the truth, with her insisting that she would ‘die’ if she was still physically involved with her ex.
Khloe and Tristan split up a year ago after Maralee Nichols filed a lawsuit against Tristan claiming that he was the father of her son Theo, who is now 12 months old. The basketballer confirmed his paternity of the child and went on to apologise to Khloe, who had previously been engaged to the sports star.
Taking to social media, Tristan shared an apology to his now ex. He wrote: "I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately."
At the time of the scandal, Khloe and Tristan were expecting their second child, a son, via a surrogate mother, their son was then born in July 2022.
Khloe said that she found out about Tristan’s other son just weeks after the embryo transfer took place. Speaking on the family’s reality TV show The Kardashians, she said: "We did an embryo transfer like days before Thanksgiving, and I found out about Tristan's situation the first week of December, it's just so close. I wouldn't want anyone to think I did this after the fact. Why would I want to have a baby with someone who is having a baby with somebody else?"
After their son was born a source close to the family confirmed that Tristan and Khloe are not on speaking terms but that they’re ‘coordinating for the kids.’
Not only that, but in the lie detector interview Khloe revealed that she won’t be letting her daughter sleep over at her older sister’s house.
Kourtney asked: "Are you ever gonna let True sleep over at my house?"
Although Khloe didn’t offer much of an explanation, she said: “Probably not.”
Then her sister pried for an answer, asking: "Okay, and is that because we have too much fun?"
Khloe elaborated that she wouldn’t be able to explain her reasoning for this decision in the limited amount of time they had for the interview saying: "I don't think we have enough time on this show for what the reason is."
