Khloe Kardashian has revealed she suffered an outfit blunder and hair "disaster" as she explained why she almost missed accepting a People's Choice Award.
The 38-year-old reality superstar almost didn't make it on stage to accept the award for The Reality Show of 2022, which they received for their show The Kardashians, alongside her momager Kris Jenner.
As it was announced that Hulu's The Kardashians had scooped the gong, 67-year-old Kris was seen walking up on stage alone despite being accompanied by her daughter to the ceremony.
Kris told the cheering ceremony crowd: "Well Khloe was sitting next to me one second ago... Oh here she comes."
Mum-of-two Khloe was met with cheers as she ascended the stage fashionably late after being called by her mum.
The flustered reality star then took to the stage to share her thanks and explain why she almost missed the ceremony after her mum asked where she was.
Khloe said: "This is so amazing, mum I'm almost out of breath!
"I was trying to fix my hair, oh my gosh, a girl's gotta fix her hair."
She then went on with: "Thank you so, so much to everyone who voted for me, for our family – I'm sure most of it was you. My mum probably voted for all of us, so.
"We're so honoured and happy to be here and just that we're able to live our lives in front of the TV and that you guys wanna watch it."
Fans rushed to Twitter to praise Khloe's new look, with one writing: "You look STUNNING!!!"
Another added: "You’re getting younger every day, looking great, wow."
A third wrote: "Your hair tonight was giving hot 90s mom and I’m here for it."
Khloe also won the gong for Reality TV Star for the fifth year in a row at the ceremony.
While many took to Twitter to heap praise on the reality star for her win, Khloe discussed why she almost missed accepting the gong.
In a video posted to her Instagram story after the ceremony, the mum-of-two explained: "Ok I'm recording. You guys, we just won People's Choice and I'm so grateful but my outfit broke... Hold on.
"The whole zipper popped open so I am sewn into my outfit, I had to pee so we had to cut the stitching out and sew me back in. My hair, here, it is a disaster but that's OK, champagne problems.
"I am so f***king happy I won People's Choice for the fifth year in a row and that Kardashians won as well and I'm so sorry I was late to the stage. Thank God for my mum trying to be a buffer and Malika [Haqq] in the back."
Khloe's BFF Malika then said: "Congratulations Koko, best reality star 2022!"
"Congratulations to us all," Khloe said before the clip cut out.
Later the reality star posted a video of herself posing and said: "You guys my hair looks really, really good now I'm telling you.
"I don't know what happened on stage, my hair was f**ked up and then I was being called, my mum was on stage alone so I had to run over there and save her and I looked like a freak but you guys know what, champagne problems OK.
"I'm so grateful I won, I love you guys, I love Malika," her pal then came in for a hug before Khloe began dancing.
