Khephren Thuram has caused a stir on social media among Liverpool supporters after it was spotted he had 'liked' a social media post praising Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Nice midfielder is away on international duty with France ahead of the Under-21 Euros, but he still had time to get Liverpool fans talking.
Thuram has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield this summer after Jurgen Klopp has already secured top summer target Alexis Mac Allister. The ECHO understands Thuram is now high on the shortlist as the Reds plot further midfield additions.
It was claimed elsewhere earlier in the week that Liverpool and Thuram were 'close' to agreeing personal terms as the two clubs were reportedly in talks surrounding a fee for the 22-year-old.

And now Thuram has 'liked' 433's post on Instagram after they uploaded an image of Alexander-Arnold celebrating his goal for England last night. The picture was captioned: "England's new number 10."
The Three Lions beat Malta 4-0 in a Euro 2024 qualification match. Alexander-Arnold was played further forward than normal, operating as part of a midfield three.
After thriving in the role, the Liverpool star said following the game: "It is still early doors and I haven’t played this position too often, but it feels comfortable and natural - it is somewhere I enjoy playing and somewhere I can see myself playing.
"For me, it is about getting into this team and being a regular name on the team sheet and I think today was a good foundation to build on."
It remains to be seen whether Thuram and Alexander-Arnold could be linking up a lot more in the coming season.
