Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman held talks on Sunday with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Discussions in Abu Dhabi tackled bilateral relations and the ongoing defense cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Prince Khalid met Sheikh Mohammed at the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
In a tweet, Prince Khalid said he conveyed the greetings of the Saudi leadership and that he discussed bilateral ties with his host.
"Firm and historic relations bind us with the rulers and people of the UAE," he added, saying these bonds are built on fraternity and the "shared common destiny".
He said the security of Saudi Arabia and the UAE is indivisible and that "the enemy of one is the enemy of the other".
