Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met separately on Thursday with the US and UN envoys for Yemen, and discussed with them the latest developments in the country.
Prince Khalid said on his Twitter account that he discussed with the US Special Envoy for Yemen, Tim Lenderking, the situation in Yemen, and stressed the commitment of the Saudi-led Coalition to supporting the Yemeni government and people, “and to drive efforts to reach a political resolution that achieves stability for the region."
During his meeting with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, Prince Khalid “discussed the latest developments in Yemen and UN efforts to reach a political resolution.”
"I stressed the determination of the Coalition led by the Kingdom to achieve security and stability in Yemen," the Saudi Deputy Defense Minister said.
