Khabib Nurmagomedov offers three sheep in exchange for meeting Michael Jordan

UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov has offered a US comedian three sheep in exchange for a meeting to be organised with former NBA star Michael Jordan.

The Russian star is currently focusing on his new MMA promotion Eagles FC which made its opening appearance in America since he took control.

He is looking to rival his former UFC employers with the rising promotion label and has also been coaching alongside his works.

However, in a bizarre exchange with American comedian Bob Menery, Nurmagomedov has offered an interesting trade to meet former basketball player Jordan.

“How many sheep do I get for Michael Jordan?” Menery was heard asking the retired star on social media.

“Three sheep. If you make me and Michael Jordan meet, I’m going to give you three sheep,” Khabib replied as he looks to meet Jordan.

Jordan had one of the most successful careers ever in basketball history and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all-time in the sport.

He has become a global icon during his time playing through the 1980's and 90's, playing fifteen seasons in the NBA while winning six championships with the Chicago Bulls.

Nurmagomedov has spoken about his desire to meet Jordan who is regarded as one of his sporting heroes.

Since taking over from Gorilla Fighting Championship and renaming the promotion, Nurmagomedov has made some key signings to his promotional label including Rashad Evans, Kevin Lee and Renan Barao.

He has fired a warning at the UFC promising to sign any fighters who are mistreated by the promotion as a well-documented row over fighter pay continues.

The Russian had a hugely successful career in the UFC retiring as an undefeated champion in the sport at lightweight defeating the likes of Conor McGregor and Al Iaquinta in the process.

Similarly to Jordan, Nurmagomedov is regarded by many in the sport as one of the greatest fighter's in the history of the promotion.

However UFC president Dana White has not included him in his top-five all-time fighter's list placing the likes of Anderson Silva and Kamaru Usman ahead of him.

"I picked Jon Jones, Kamaru Usman, Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva," White told Yahoo Sports when asked about his 'best ever' fighters.

"Anderson just did more and he was there longer. The dominance of Khabib is unbelievable and like you say it is a different day and era with different levels and skills."

Nurmagomedov has been in the limelight for a number of reasons recently including his recent exchanges with Jake Paul.

The Russian star has reportedly offered the YouTube star an opportunity to fight in his promotion Eagles FC.

He has also been talked up by Paul in his bid to make an MMA switch as he plots to train at the Russian's gym with his coach.
