Khabib Nurmagomedo sends warning to Tyson Fury over Francis Ngannou and Oleksandr Uysk fights

Khabib Nurmagomedov has told Tyson Fury who is the toughest opponent in the heavyweight division.

The Gypsy King recently called out all three of his rivals in the heavyweight division, stating that he'd like to face Dillian Whyte, Oleksandr Uysk and Anthony Joshua.

Fury remains undefeated after his trilogy bouts with Deontay Wilder, whilst reigning supreme atop of the heavyweight rankings.

After calling out all three, Fury is now set to face Whyte for the WBC championship after the fight was mandated following four delays, with purse bids being pushed back - while Joshua will face Usyk in a rematch.

An agreement was finally reached with Whyte recently, with the fight set to get underway in just over two months. It will be Fury 's first in the UK since 2018 - before his first fight with Wilder.

There are current talks on Fury facing UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, but the Gypsy King stated that fight is unlikely to happen until 2023.

And UFC legend Nurmagomedov stated that while Fury is on a 'different level', he believes only one man poses a real threat to him in the heavyweight division.

He told Sky Sports: "He [Fury] is the best right now. I think Fury is on a different level, in boxing. If they fight in the MMA of course, Ngannou has a chance now – we can see from his last fight.

"If they fight in the UFC yeah, Fury doesn’t have too many chances.

"But in boxing, I don’t see anyone even touching his face – maybe Oleksandr Usyk.

"Usyk is going to be a tough challenge for Fury.

“But Ngannou? I think he has to stay with the UFC. But if he goes to boxing and he’s making $50 or $60 million – he has to. Why not? I know Ngannou comes from a very, very poor life in Africa. He was with no money, no home, nothing. So if someone pays you more money then go and take.

“If you want to make history, become the greatest heavyweight of all time then you have to stay in UFC.”

Fury will likely face the winner of Joshua vs Usyk, when they have their rematch in May.

Usyk soundly defeated Joshua last year, outboxing him throughout.

A fight with Fury facing the winner would see the heavyweight belts be unified, before Fury potentially makes the switch to fight Ngannou in a crossover fight.
