KFC has issued an apology after two local Edinburgh TV personalities claimed they received a 'greasy' meal with food 'thrown' in a bucket.
Presenter Debbie Stephens, from Portobello, was fuming and said she was forced to bin £25 worth of food after ordering from the Meadowbank KFC branch on Sunday, March 26.
Debbie and her husband Craig were looking forward to a special Sunday treat with the kids and were excited to pick up their order from the local KFC but when they got home were left gutted.

The fast food giant have since apologised for the food not being up to their high standards and encourage the customers to get in touch so they can rectify the situation.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live Debbie said: "I went to this KFC restaurant to take food away and ordered two zinger box meals and two mighty buckets for one
"As soon as the family were ready to tuck in we noticed the way chips were thrown into the buckets without chip bags and the fillets were shrivelled, the wings were tiny and all the food was overcooked.
"Our kids wouldn't eat it and the oil was dripping so much it came leaking out the buckets. Both bucket meals were ruined."
But the disappointment didn't end there as the mum explained: "Then the zinger box meals came with chips in the bags except they were just thrown in making them look all over the place as if staff did not care.
"One zinger roll looked broken as if someone pressed on it and damaged it, the zinger chicken on the roll was overcooked and very hard and had a piece of chicken bone stuck on it."

She continued: "My husband could have choked as I'm his career partner on the tv show Moreish TV where we review food and we worked on the ITV cookery show Chopping Block.
"All the food was wasted which angered us after we spent £25.98 our 4 meals were all disgusting oily badly presented overcooked and completely ruined."
The family are still waiting for a full refund from the fast food brand.
A KFC Spokesperson said: “We’re proud of our finger lickin’ good chicken, so we’re sorry that this wasn’t up to the Colonel’s usual high standards.
"We’ve not had any similar complaints, but we’d love the guest to get in touch with so we can make things right.”
