KFC on busy Nottingham street applies to be able to open 24 hours

A KFC fast food restaurant has applied for an extension to its opening hours in a bid to attract late-night customers. KFC on Long Row West in Nottingham's city centre has been open since September 2020, in the former Habitat premises.

The application states that KFC requested the opening hours to be extended to 24 hours from Monday to Saturday. Sunday would have slightly reduced hours from 7 am until 3 am the following morning. The hours it's seeking to serve late night refreshments differ slightly to the wider opening hours application.

A licensing application states KFC hopes to: 'extend the hours for Late Night Refreshment on Monday to Saturday to 11 pm to 5 am the following morning and on Sunday to 11 pm to 03.00 am the following morning.'

It continued by adding that the restaurant would like to 'extend the Opening on Monday to Saturday to 24 hours a day and on Sunday from 7 am to 3 am the following morning.'

The current opening hours are from 11:30 pm until 4 am in keeping with many of the other venues on the busy street which is a favourite for those on a night out. The KFC is just one of a number of late-night fast food takeaways on Long Row including Slim Chickens and Ohannes burger city.

It is not the only KFC in the city centre as there is another restaurant on Milton Street near Victoria Centre. There are also a number of other restaurants around Nottinghamshire.

KFC has just launched five weeks of deals available exclusively on the KFC App. Each week of January will see 50 per cent off one of the fan-favourite menu items. While previous deals have been on the boneless chicken boxes, a new one should be announced later today.
