KFC's secret recipe chicken is a favourite amongst fast food fans, but although KFC is famous for its buckets, it's not nearly as well known for its bargains.
So while McDonald's have their poundsaver menu and Subway have their sub of the day, KFC has brought back its own statement discount: Chicken Tuesdays.
In the deal you get nine pieces of original recipe chicken for just £5.99.
And for once there's no catch, being available to absolutely everyone, all you need to do is make sure you have the free KFC app, download the code walk into the store and order it like usual, making sure to show your code at the till.
According to bargain hunters on deals forum Hot UK Deals, KFC's Chicken Tuesdays are set to return next week, on 13 August 2019.
If you want some gravy or chips to go with, you can easily add two large sides to your order as well for £2 more, making the 9-piece meal £7.99 in total.
Importantly, all the key sides are included too, as you can pick two from the following: 2x regular fries, bottle of Pepsi/Tango/7-Up, large gravy, large beans, large coleslaw, 2x corn on the cob.
One member of the deals forum also told fellow KFC fans a cheeky tactic he used to get only the good bits of chicken in his Tuesday selection, apparently telling staff he was allergic to the least-meaty cut: drumsticks, and actually managed to bag a whole nine pieces of thigh and breast meat instead.
On the post garethcollins925 wrote "I went into my local KFC last time and told them that I was allergic to 'drum sticks'. I was only joking but they took me seriously and gave me all thighs and breast pieces in my 9 piece bucket." Genius - if you're brave enough that is...
