A village pub has announced it will be closed "until further notice" in a message to customers. Keyworth Tavern, which is located in Fairway in Keyworth, made the announcement on Tuesday, May 24.
The pub has apologised for the inconvenience while it remains shut. It describes itself as a "community style pub serving cask ales and an excellent quality traditional pub food menu". Keyworth Tavern said in a Facebook post: "Many apologies for any inconvenience. We will be closed until further notice."
The pub reopened back in August 2013 with a fully redeveloped kitchen and new food menu and is owned by Punch Pubs & Co. The pub shows football matches as well as running darts, quizzes and curry nights.
