Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a boost ahead of the return of Premier League football with the return of Croatian star Ivan Perisic. The versatile midfielder played a starring role for Zlatko Dalic's side as they finished third in the World Cup.
Like they did in 2018, Croatia defied the odds in many ways as they reached the semi-final after surpassing Japan and Brazil in the knockout stages. However, they were eventually knocked out of the tournament by the eventual champions, Argentina.
A 2-1 victory over Morocco last Saturday ensured they secured third-placed in the Middle East with Perisic featuring in all seven of his nation's fixtures. Now, the 33-year-old diverts his attention back to domestic football with Antonio Conte's side.

Ahead of the trip to the Brentford Community Stadium, Conte was handed a boost to his team selection with the return of Perisic to training - only six days after playing in Qatar.
Spurs will be hoping to have Perisic fit and firing ready for the return of domestic football. The experienced wing-back has featured in all 15 of Tottenham's league games this season making him one of Conte's most influential players alongside Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
