Christmas officially gets underway in Kilmarnock later today.
Festivities in the town kick-off with the switch-on of Christmas lights this afternoon.
A range of entertainment and market stalls will be in the town centre as part of the winter festival.
We revealed earlier this week there will be no countdown or stage this year.
East Ayrshire Leisure have confirmed that the lights will be on in the town centre from 12 noon.
Carol-singing, music and street entertainment will all feature as part of the countdown to Christmas.
A special Christmas Escape event will also be taking place at the New Laigh Kirk with guests going through each station and working together to "unlock the secrets of the Nativity story to reveal the true meaning of Christmas."
All families are welcome at the new church event that's on from 1pm to 4pm.
