A South Gloucestershire Road will be closed overnight for three weeks, starting today (Monday, August 15). Yate Road in Iron Acton will be closed as re-surfacing work is carried out from the junction of B4058 Wotton Road to the roundabout at Iron Acton Way/Armstrong Way.
The closures will be in place between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Friday, however work will not take place on Saturdays or Sundays, or on the Bank Holiday Monday (August 29).
There will be a signed diversion which takes in the B4058 Bristol Road, Winterbourne Hill, Bristol Road, Whiteshill, A4174 Ring Road, A432 Badminton Road, B4059 Stover Road, Yate Road and vice versa, according to South Gloucestershire Council StreetCare.

In a message to Facebook this weekend, South Gloucestershire Council StreetCare went on to say: "This work is part of a larger programme to improve the flood resilience of key roads across South Gloucestershire.
"Please note, there will be a slightly different diversion in place on Friday 26 August as Network Rail will be carrying out works on the Bristol Road level crossing, also under a road closure. Diversion signs will be in place. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience."
