Key Rangers duo set to miss first leg of Europa League quarter-final tie

Rangers progressed to the quarter-finals of the Europa League this evening with a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Fenerbahce.

A shootout from 12 yards ensued, and the Ibrox club emerged 3-2 victors.

Rangers will now face Athletic Club of Spain's Basque region in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, although key duo Mohamed Diomande and John Souttar will miss the first leg through suspension.

He has guided his boyhood team into the last eight of the Europa League after a rather nervy 120 minutes of football in Govan.
