Key dates to know for Packers training camp in 2024

Training camp is almost here for Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers. The 2024 Packers will kick off the season with a practice on Monday, July 22.

LaFleur’s team will hold 16 open practices in Green Bay, including Family Night and a joint practice. The Packers will go on the road for two preseason games and one joint practice before returning home to finish the exhibition schedule at Lambeau Field. From there, Brian Gutekunst must determine his roster before the regular season kicks off against the Philadelphia Eagles in a special international game in Brazil.

Sunday, July 21: Veteran players report
Monday, July 22: First practice (10:30 a.m.)
Saturday, Aug. 3: Family Night at Lambeau Field (7:30 p.m.)
Saturday, Aug. 10: Preseason game at Cleveland Browns (3:25 p.m.)
Friday, Aug. 16: Joint practice vs. Denver Broncos (10:00 a.m.)
Sunday, Aug. 18: Preseason game at Denver Broncos (7:00 p.m.)
Thursday, Aug. 22: Joint practice vs. Ravens (10:30 a.m.
Saturday, Aug. 24: Preseason game vs. Baltimore Ravens (noon)
Tuesday, Aug. 27: Roster reduction to 53 players by 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 28: Practice squad establishment begins
