Key Celtic financials in full as Ajer and Edouard help Hoops to financial position of strength

Celtic have confirmed their key financial items for the year after a successful year on and off the pitch in Glasgow's east end.

Group revenue has jumped 45.2% to 88.2m while money from transfers also rose from previous seasons with the sales of Kristoffer Ajer, Ryan Christie and Odsonne Edouard included in this intake, taken from June 30th 2021 to June 30th, 2022. Ange Postecoglou joined in the summer of 2021 and with him he has brought the Premiership title back to Parkhead and Champions League group stage football.

A revamped playing squad with the permanent additions of striker Kyogo Furuhashi, forward Giorgios Giakoumakis, midfielder Reo Hatate, winger Jota and defender Cameron Carter-Vickers among a number of big name additions in the last three windows. It means there is a profit before taxation of £6.1m, whereas in 2021 Celtic reported a £11.5m loss for the club off the back of the Covid pandemic.
