Lowell Farms Strentghtens Board OF Directors
Lowell Farms Inc. (CSE:LOWL) (OTCQX:LOWLF), a California-based maker of Lowell Smokes, has named Summer Frein and Ann Lawrence to its board of directors.
Frein currently serves as the chief marketing officer of Turning Point Brands, Inc. (NYSE:TPB). Her oversight includes brand management, creative services, e-commerce, business intelligence, marketing services, and consumer insights.
Prior to joining Turning Point Brands, Summer held a variety of senior leadership roles – across sales, digital strategy, marketing, and strategy and business development – over the course of 15 years at Cronos Group Inc (NASDAQ:CRON) and Altria Group Inc's (NYSE:MO).
Lawrence is a widely respected executive and attorney currently serving as the co-founder and CEO of a Southern California collection of cannabis companies comprising a distribution company and two popular retail dispensaries - The Rose Collective and The Farmacy Westwood.
Her extensive experience in California's cannabis industry includes leadership in retail, branding, manufacturing, cultivation and distribution, as well as expertise with California's unique regulatory and compliance challenges.

Chalice Brands' Interim CFO Resigns
Chalice Brands Ltd. (CSE:CHAL) (OTCQB:CHALF) recently revealed that its interim CFO, Richard Lindsay, has resigned from his position.
Lindsay joined the company in an interim contract role to help get the company through the 2021 audit. He has accomplished the majority of the work related to the audit and, accordingly, has resigned from his position.
"I would like to thank Richard for his hard work as interim CFO of Chalice over the past few months. We wish him luck in all his future endeavors," said Jeff Yapp, president and CEO of Chalice Brands.
Chalice Brands also said that it plans to announce the appointment of a new CFO in the near future.
Radient Technologies Names Interim CEO
Radient Technologies Inc. (TSXV:RTI), a producer of cannabis extracts and packaged products, has tapped Dr. Steven Splinter to serve as interim CEO and Dimitris Tzanis as director.
Simultaneously, the company announced its intentions to complete a promissory note financing.
Splinter is the founder of Radient and has worked with the company for more than two decades, most recently in the position of chief technology officer. He has been a director of the company since 2018.
Splinter's appointment follows Harry Kaura stepping down as CEO and director of the company to pursue other business interests.
Meanwhile, Tzanis agreed to serve on the company's board of directors as an independent, non-executive director.
Tzanis previously served as a director of the company from July 2016 until February 2020. He is the owner of a group of communication companies based in Switzerland and brings over 25 years of experience in corporate communications, brand strategy, political communication and audio-visual productions. He's also served as a consultant to government departments, public organizations and private companies.
