Angry Kelty Hearts boss Kevin Thomson claims he was branded a "h** c***" during their clash with Elgin City.
Former Rangers and Hibs star Thomson took over from Barry Ferguson as boss of the League Two club and has led an impressive promotion charge.
They went into Saturday 15 points clear of second-placed Annan but that was cut to 13 points after they drew 0-0 at Borough Briggs.
And Thomson says he was subject to vile abuse from the stands during the stalemate.
He wrote on Twitter: "Tough game, proud of the lads, had to dig deep, five games in 14 days, two derbies and a trip up north against a good Elgin team.
"Disgrace to be called a h** c*** the whole game, just as well I’ve thick skin!! Safe trip home to all the fans, brilliant support as usual."
It was only the third league game this season in which Kelty have failed to score and following a 0-0 draw with Albion Rovers during the week.
But it did nudge them a point closer to the title as they sit 13 clear with 24 points left to play for in League Two.
